Plant a Seed

Few things in advertising are more exciting than being on the Super Bowl. This being Kellogg’s first foray into the Big Game, we wanted to do something that also had a big impact.

We made it the first Super Bowl ad speaking directly to moms, and made it about much more than selling Frosted Flakes.

Under 5

The Cadillac V-Series consisted of three cars which could go from 0-60 in under five seconds. My idea was simple: to own five seconds.

To do so, we invented the 5-second commercial (for real), and held a 5-second film festival hosted by John Travolta (for real).

Fair Play

Long before she began her fight for equal pay, millions of girls already looked up to Carli Lloyd. When Lifeway Kefir made Carli their brand ambassador, it felt like a natural fit, as they had been standing up for women’s right for decades.

We convinced them to make the most of the partnership, and to use the Summer Olympics to take a stand with Carli Lloyd, becoming the first American company to publicly back equal pay.

Simply Give

Almost everyone has shared pictures of their food on social media. The practice is somewhere between drool-inspiring and obnoxious.

Our idea was to take this seemingly selfish act and turn it into something more selfless.

What if photos of our meals could become actual meals for families who need them the most? We helped Meijer do just that, to the tune of five million donated meals.

Apathy is Lethal.

Some projects are truly life changing. This is the campaign I’m most proud of in my career—and that’s why I’m sneaking it into this section, too.

I don’t have an official case study video, but if I did, it would end with the President of the United States announcing in his State of the Union address that he’s directing nearly a billion dollars in funding to help protect a group we identified and named: AIDS Orphans — because that’s exactly what happened.
